Seilbåtservice AS’s marina includes all piers and breakwaters in the area of Hjalmar Bjørges Vei no. 113 and 115.
Use of the port implies acceptance of these regulations.
The port shall only be used during the port’s seasonal opening hours.
Everyone staying in the harbor area is obliged to follow the instructions of Seilbåtservice marina. Violation of the regulations may result in expulsion.
There should be quiet at night at 11:00 p.m. Music from the boats, regardless of the time, should not be so loud that it can disturb neighbors.
Boats moored in the guest harbor must be “occupied”. If a “parking space” is needed, contact Seilbåtservice AS for assignment of a suitable space and agreement on special supervision.
Anchoring prohibited throughout the harbor due to submarine cables, mooring chains and ground conditions.
The boat size should correspond to the boat space.
The boat must be adequately fendered and securely moored.
The boat owner/operator is responsible for any damage caused by the boat, its mooring, crew or guests to the pier, other boats or other parts of the port facilities. Damage must be reported immediately to the port office.
All boats moored at the pier of Seilbåtservice AS must have taken out minimum liability insurance on the boat.
All boats that must be moored with strain relievers on ALL ropes attached to the dock.
The port is not regulated as a permanent residence. That is, it is not permitted to use the boat as a residence.
Only approved power cable and connector must be used for connecting shore power. Cable must be marked TXOI, TI, IFSI-EMC.
For daily use of showers/toilets or when using the boat as a residence, a housing supplement of NOK 2,000 per season is applicable.
Open fires and barbecues are not permitted in the port area, except at the barbecue area.
Combustible materials should not be thrown into containers or garbage cans. Great care is advised when transferring fuel. In the event of a fire, the moorings are released and the boat is pushed from shore. Firefighting and rescue equipment is available at the gangways and on the piers.
It is not permitted to water ski, etc. in the harbour. Diving shall only take place by agreement with Seilbåtservice AS. Otherwise, reference is made to the speed regulations for the Fredrikstad harbour district.
Garbage is thrown into the Sailing Boat Service’s garbage bins.
Dogs must be kept on a leash.
Boats that are moored in violation of the harbor regulations may be removed at the owner’s expense and risk.
All boats moored in the harbor must pay rent.
The boat owner/driver is responsible for ensuring that rent is paid and that a receipt can be presented.
Unpaid rent will be charged an administration fee of NOK 250 per day commenced. The regulations are enforced under private law and the harbour office has the right to retain the boat until all costs have been paid.

The renter is responsible if the boat capsizes and causes damage to their own and/or other people’s boats or property. Boats must be cleaned below the waterline before being placed in the storage area. This is in accordance with requirements from the Environmental Protection Department at the County Governor. All sailboats with the mast up are stored in a fixed steel cradle. Boat owners who have their own equipment for storage must ensure that this is approved. The boat owner is obliged to follow the instructions of the supplier of the equipment.
No work may be carried out with boat cleaning etc. that is a nuisance, or that will soil other people’s boats or property at the storage site, or the area in general. Hiring external companies to carry out various works must be approved by Seilbåtservice AS.
Tarpaulins must be fastened securely and not attached to supports.
We work every day to maintain a green environmental profile and therefore want our customers to prioritize eco-labeled products such as non-toxic antifreeze, detergents, etc.
Do not litter the storage area / parking space with paint/antifouling or other rubbish. If the area is littered or the boat owner is found to be in breach of the rules, the owner will be invoiced for clean-up without notice. Waste must be handled in accordance with Seilbåtservice AS’s waste plan.
When removing old antifouling and applying new, a collection tarpaulin must be used under the boat. Antifouling residues are collected and deposited in the environmental container. If this requirement is neglected, the person concerned will be charged for environmental remediation costs.
The storage area must be swept and cleaned when the boat is removed. Cradles/supports must be removed from the area unless an agreement has been made with Seilbåtservice AS.
The boat must be insured for liability. Insurance number and company must be provided to Seilbåtservice AS when booking a space.
There is access to electricity at the storage areas. Only approved power cables should be used.
Seilbåtservice AS is not responsible for theft or damage that may occur during the storage period.
We would like to remind you that the winter season at Seilbåtservice AS is from October 15 to April 15. If you have not removed your boat from storage by the end of the winter season, the boat owner will be charged NOK 250 per day. Exceptions only by agreement with Seilbåtservice AS. If the boat is not removed by the deadline, Seilbåtservice AS will be able to arrange for the boat to be moved at the owner’s expense. All invoices for service/work performed during winter storage must be paid before the boat is delivered. Payment for mooring must be made before the boat is moored in the harbor.
